Having rented various properties over the years, first time buyers Rosie and Brent not only took the plunge to buy their first home recently – but they bought it ‘off-plan’ too!
The young professional couple are originally from the Lake District and Cardiff and following a visit from Rosie’s parents to their Moseley home they visited a Kendrick Homes development site in Yardley.
Whilst there they were advised that a small brand new development was to be launched at Kings Heath, an area that they are very familiar with, and an area that would be ideal for them both to commute to work – and the rest as they say is history.
The couple fell in love with the computer-generated visuals of the corner plot property and they decided to go for it, lock, stock and barrel. Rosie commented, “Buying your first home is obviously a very daunting task, but the whole team at Kendrick Homes made the experience for us, and greatly assisted in keeping our stress levels as low as possible.
“They were also very accommodating and allowed us to change the plans slightly and also helped us to secure the governments ‘Help to Buy’ scheme which greatly benefitted us as first time buyers.
“And with a choice of over 60 wall tiles and various kitchen combination options we really were spoilt for choice, and they exceeded all of our expectations of purchasing a home.
Brent commented, “Having reviewed various properties and house builders the level of finish and what has been included for us both inside and outside of our property is unbelievable.
“Kendrick Homes went the extra mile for us and even allowed us to come on-site prior to completion to fit under floor heating in our kitchen and en-suite areas.
“We were treated like one of the family and the whole of their team were fantastic – even the managing director visited our plot for a final inspection prior to hand over.
“Our friends have been purchasing homes too recently with other builders and I have to think twice now before talking about our purchase as it clearly includes a lot more, both inside and outside of the property, than they have been receiving elsewhere.
“Whilst this is our first experience of buying our own property, it is an experience we will never forget – and for the right reasons!”
