The main building at Croome Court had been home to the Earl family since the 16th century. It was the 6th Earl that set about transforming it into the Palladian style. Over the years it has been used for may purposes, but today the house and parkland are open to the public. There are many things to see and do here and the rooms inside the house hold temporary exhibitions and installations created by up-and-coming artists, craftspeople and designers continuing the 6th Earl’s legacy of nurturing new talent. There is also a 1940's themed restaurant, second hand book shop and an RAF museum.
