We’ve exchanged contracts on a new development site in Upton Snodsbury, adding another fantastic Worcestershire location to our future development plans.
Subject to planning permission, our proposals for the allocated site will include 25 new homes, ranging from two to five bedrooms alongside a selection of bungalows.
It’s still early days, but our initial hand drawn site plan gives a first look at how the development could take shape. As with all of our developments, the proposals will be designed with the location in mind, with careful consideration given to the layout, landscaping and character of the homes and how they sit within their surroundings.
Village life in the Worcestershire countryside
Upton Snodsbury is a well established Worcestershire village surrounded by open countryside, offering the benefits of rural living while remaining well connected to the wider region. Worcester is within easy reach for employment, shopping, leisure and everyday amenities, while Stratford-upon-Avon and the surrounding Warwickshire countryside are also easily accessible. It’s exactly the type of location we look for when choosing where to build, somewhere with its own character and sense of community, but with good connections to the places people need for work, education and leisure.
Our continued commitment to Worcestershire
This is our second land acquisition in as many months and another important addition to a growing pipeline of new homes across the region.
Worcestershire has long been an important area for us and that commitment continues to grow. We’re currently building new homes at Ambridge Fields in Inkberrow, Cygnets Rest in Drakes Broughton and Severn Meadows in Upton upon Severn, while Colwall Reach, on the western slopes of the Malvern Hills, is due to go on sale in late autumn. Alongside these developments, we’re continuing to invest in new sites that will allow us to bring more high quality homes to the towns and villages of Worcestershire over the coming years. From homes for first time buyers and growing families to larger properties and bungalows for those looking to downsize, we want our developments to offer a genuine mix of homes while retaining the quality, design and attention to detail that we put into every Kendrick home.
Subject to planning permission, we expect development at Upton Snodsbury to begin in 2028, with plenty more to share as our plans progress.
