Celebrating the Kendrick Homes team

We’re kicking off 2025 with a fantastic start to the year, as our new Head of Sales, Kirsty Darby, settles into her role with a flurry of new sales and a strong outlook for the months ahead.

With over 20 years of experience in the property sector, Kirsty is focused on driving growth for Kendrick Homes as we launch several high-profile developments in Worcestershire, Warwickshire, and Gloucestershire. Her expertise in sales, marketing, and branding, along with her passion for mentoring, makes her a great addition to our team. “This is an exciting time to be joining Kendrick Homes, one of the UK’s oldest house builders with a great reputation for delivering high-quality homes and communities,” says Kirsty. “I was really drawn to the family-run nature of the business and the opportunity to shape its future in its sixth generation of ownership. We can make decisions quickly, and with a strong pipeline of land and new developments in sought-after locations, 2025 is shaping up to be a fantastic year.”

Kirsty is also a passionate advocate for women in construction and is keen to use her leadership position to encourage more women to consider careers in the industry.

One of our team members already making her mark is Megan Rea, who made the switch from beauty therapy to a fast-moving career in construction. Starting as a labourer, Megan’s determination and skill quickly caught our attention, and she’s now thriving as a Trainee Site Manager. “My family works in construction, so I’ve always been drawn to building sites – but I never imagined I’d be on the path to becoming a Site Manager by the age of 25,” says Megan. “I’ve just completed my first site at Welford-on-Avon, helping to build 24 amazing homes. I was even given my own plot to manage, which has been an incredible learning experience.” Megan is now focused on completing the next stages of her Level 4 site supervisory qualification and has her sights set on becoming a fully qualified Site Manager. “Kendrick Homes has been really supportive, providing external training and access to experienced team members who have helped me develop my skills,” she adds. “It’s great to be part of a company that actively supports women in construction.”

We’re incredibly proud of the talented people who make Kendrick Homes what it is today. With strong leadership, exciting new developments, and a commitment to nurturing talent, 2025 is already shaping up to be a landmark year for us!
